Double Chocolate Pretzel Brownies

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
2 oz mini pretzels
Instructions (yields 16 brownies):
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a bowl combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk together until glossy. Stir in the cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Whisk the eggs together in a small bowl, then stir them into the brownie batter.
Fold in the flour, until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread into an even layer.
Top the brownie batter with pretzels, then place in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Once a toothpick comes out clean, remove the brownies from the oven and allow to cool.
