Croissant French Toast

Ingredients:
6 slices croissant bread
2/3 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1 tbsp unsalted butter, for cooking
Instructions (yields 6 slices):
Whisk the milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow bowl.
Butter a griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
Place the bread into the egg mixture, completely coating both sides.
Transfer the bread to the hot griddle or frying pan and cook until golden (~3-4 minutes per side).
Serve hot with maple syrup and toppings of your choice!
