Croissant French Toast


Prep Time: 4 minutes | Cook Time: 4 minutes | Total Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices croissant bread

  • 2/3 cup whole milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, for cooking

Instructions (yields 6 slices):

  • Whisk the milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow bowl.

  • Butter a griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.

  • Place the bread into the egg mixture, completely coating both sides.

  • Transfer the bread to the hot griddle or frying pan and cook until golden (~3-4 minutes per side).

  • Serve hot with maple syrup and toppings of your choice!
